So today I've mainly been doing two things:
1) listening to The Pixies (Gouge Away has been on repeat for a long time)
and
2) looking at Keith Thompson art work. Such amazing art, I'm thinking of ordering some prints of Plague Cart (http://www.keiththompsonart.com/pages/cart.html) and Prophet (http://www.keiththompsonart.com/pages/prophet.html)

Are those pencil sketches or are they done on some fancy software? Great attention to detail. But slightly depressing won't you say? Why don't you do some of your own stuff and put it up like that?
I'm not sure if they are pencil sketches, or whether they are done on the comnputer with a graphics tablet. Yup I think they do have a depressing feeling to them, or some kind of hopeless feeling, maybe that's why I'm attracted hehe.
I'm trying to get a portfolio together that is good enough to get me a job, but I need to improve my stuff an incredible amount before that'll happen.
